And this one is personal for me: Chapinero was the first place I ever lived in Bogotá.

Maybe that’s why I see so much more in it than just a neighborhood.

There is something wonderfully lived-in about Chapinero. The architecture, cafés, streets, textures, and hidden gems give us so much to work with. You can walk, talk, stop for coffee, wander down a street, and let the photographs happen naturally along the way.

I especially love it for couples who are drawn to an artistic and editorial feeling and don’t want their engagement photos to look overly posed or traditional.

Chapinero is for you if you want your engagement photos to feel:

The tree-lined streets and open spaces make it easier to slow down. It’s a beautiful option if you imagine your engagement session as a relaxed walk together rather than an afternoon spent moving from one posed setup to another.
